I also saw a 320 trip get assigned last week with 5 legs on one of the days and 4 legs on most of the rest. Ouch.

Is this a fluke, or has it been this way for a while?
Definitely a fluke (or a change in philosophy) for the 73N. Normally, one or maximum two legs per day since we're TRANSCON guys. I think I've flown three or four legs in a day only a handful of times. That might be changing but I haven't seen it yet.

coming back from MIL leave in a couple of months & trying to make a guess as where to go. Where can I look to find out how many reserves are required each month?

Unless you're into narrow body Boeing aircraft.

Or Airbus.

Dear Airbus guys, please take no offense because I'll bid over to Hal if it comes to ATL and if the stars align and the % is favorable.
