Nothing has changed contractually on the With conflict GS's. Its the same deal it always was. They drop the conflicting trip and pay you for both trips. Been that way since at least 1986. I once got a 2 day with conflict GS that dropped a 7 day trip. I kind of liked it!!!!!

On the ER they have so many pilots that they can break up a rotation to avoid a conflict. they will also award an out of base GS before a conflict too.
Not to digress, but the funny thing is though, I still have no idea what the purpose of short call pilots is in my category. I was on short call a week or so ago, and several GSs went out on trips that would have been perfect for me. I don't get it. Anyway.. I hope this helps
