Again. Do any of the above stories seem "reasonable" to you?

But thanks for carrying the company's water and lowering expectations... again.

Amazing. You collect FPL from the pilots...only to defend and aid the company, and undermine our prospects for the great contract we demand. Absolutely disgusting. Why am I paying DALPA for this "service?"

I kind of wonder if slowplay is actually part of management and only pretending to be a DALPA management apologist....I have seen enough instances now of expectation managing to at least render the compliment that he is good at is.

Ha, true...I just now considered that same possibility and was getting ready to post that!

Regardless, DALPA is on the hot seat.

Don't worry, if expectations aren't met for the next contract or extension, slow and his friends will be voted out, and he'll be lost in donut hell.

Unfreaking believable. Our healthcare options BLOW, slowplay. I'm literally at a loss for words other than just sitting here shaking my head.

UHC is a good healthcare provider, but our options are so dang limited under the plans we have and there's so much out of pocket... it's ridiculous. I was excited when I got hired and saw UHC... but it's been a big disappointment.

Even worse that I know you're on the inside at ALPA...

I hate to be the Debbie Downer here, but flying big airplanes like this is ridiculous. Hasn't the Air Force learned enough tough lessons? I would imagine that an engine failure or prop malfunction during one of those high bank nose high turns wouldn't end with good results.

One guy pointed out that tubes in his kids ears cost $2800. One of my kids entire medical care cost $2300 (Diamond HSA) last year. The family cost $4500 out of pocket (plus premiums). Everything after that was free, along with all preventive care. The HSA has a tax deduction, so net of that I paid about $300 per month total for a family that spent in the 5 digits for the year.

I expect someody who changed his screenname from Kochblauch to have issues, but you generally think a little better than this.

On average, you make cogent arguments, even if your perspective is somewhat slanted, but... you're absolutely out of your mind on this one.

Everything you wrote above carries its own contradiction, and for good cause: you're defending the indefensible. It's like reading a communiqué from the political commissar, stating he doesn't think comrade Stalin's personel policies are too harsh.

Sorry for the late edit- got pulled away mid-edit to skype with the in-laws.

I totally disagree with your conclusion on our healthcare options, though. It's been nothing but a big disappointment, and I hope the coming negotiations bring some much needed improvements (like in many areas). Your views on these very lacking options don't give me much confidence in that, though.

Your lack of forthrightness strikes...again.

Those are last year's numbers. You are obviously aware, but failed to state, that the out-of-pocket max on the HSA Platinum plan increased $1500, (33%) for 2012.

You just asserted that we are "contractually protected" from that in Section 25. You are clearly not engaging us in good faith.
