Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Thanks ACL. I don't wanna leave. I really enjoy Delta and the guys I fly with. But, with a wife and three young kids I have to do the best I can to provide. If that means leaving, I will. Certainly a below expectations contract will have me looking to do just that.

I have three kiddos to, and college is expensive. I see guys sitting in my seat not being able to afford that in their 50's. Kind of discouraging.

I do agree, the ppl here are awesome. Don't know any double breasted ............ :D

The pilots seem to understand, but does it bother the company that a lot of their pilots are looking elsewhere? Sounds like the fellas in Flight Ops might care but they also seem not to have much pull in the big scheme of things.

Maybe some of the 'senior' posters can recall days of yore when the jr DAL pilots were equally nervous about the future and then it all worked out OK.
