I do not even look at that site. What lies are being spewed about the 757 engine failure?

Pretty much the entire "news article". It's standard ALPA safety volnteer bashing at it's lowest form. They lie about the date that it happened; that no one said anything about it, there's a flight safety flyer and an NTSB report about it; and infer that there is an "attempt to cover up events".

Well, I'm not so I guess I will not be able to read it. When I was searching for their web site I did come across the Holiday Video though. Finally found the site, and did not see the article in question. I guess what you state explains it.

My guess is they blame ALPA. Probably some wild conspiracy about ALPA somehow forcing the birds to fly into the engine.

Ahh. I have to admit that DAL does a good job of keeping pilots in the loop on the majority of issues. I read the Flight Safety Flyer et al all of the time. As far as my experience goes, I have never seen that sort of transparency before.

Not really sure what need there would be to cover up anything, but that is just me.

I though that Birds had some sort of 12 step program to help them to resist the urge to fly in to engines at ALPA's request?

Indeed they did. It's all part of the master plan to reveal our incompetence as pilots so that DALPA can outsource all of our flying.
