Ensuring your application is updated in "the window" is important. Mine had an error in employment history...the panel graciously allowed me to correct it in the interview...Don't be that guy...
Otherwise the panel is a great opportunity to get to know 3 people you've never met. Relax, have fun, they know you're not perfect. Be honest.

The Cincinnati spots went pretty early. Basically, if it was something other than NYC than it was going to go early.

No, he's one of the 9 guys (myself included) on the 88 in NYC. But hey, we're just happy to be here...Besides with all the movement he should have no problem getting there soon.

Thanks ...

I took 2-1/2 months of FMLA in early 2007 for the birth of our first child. Do you think they will look negatively on that?

acl65pilot 01-23-2008 05:58 AM

nope. They gave people in my new hire class time off for the birth of their children. One 12 weeks the others a few days in the middle of sims. DAL is very good with that.

Bluto 01-23-2008 06:21 AM

They didn't ask me about leave (FMLA), they specified sick-calls, etc, during the interview.

acl65pilot 01-23-2008 06:48 AM

Exactly. It is when you called out sick, not FMLA.
IE do you call out on Holidays, and Super Bowl Weekend. Not do you take time off that is legally yours to take.
