My sincere hope is that if these are the numbers that the MEC does te right thing and simply votes no, and we fire the negotiating Chairman.

That is very fair. I said IF what many many people are hearing from different sources proves true....
My point is more that if this is the best we think we can do, it may be time for DALPA to send it all back to the table.

Wow. I really hope this statement is wrong. Forget about expectations. This is overall concessionary or cost-neutral at best. The 4 percent and 3 percent raises are just keeping our buying power the same. This would be a 4 year deal with a single 5 percent raise in exchange for selling scope (yes, I said it). Honestly, the above is so far below my expectations, I don't even believe it. I'll have to see it officially to believe it.
No, apparently not a joke. I asked the same.
If this leak is correct, it stands as quite frankly a disrespectful offer.
I am beginning to think that the rushed timeline is part of the negotiating strategy and a ploy.
The sell now is going to be urgency.
Except this - NOW!
The offer is a one time only deal, reject it and the next will not be as good. Ratify it - NOW!
We need a hurried timeline for voting - NOW!
In the end, it might be apparent that there was no reason for the hurried hurried negotiation except to contrast the "except it now and capture the time/value or risk a drawn out section 6."
Kind of like a quick negotiating shock and awe to throw folks off balance.

The numbers mean far less to me than Scope and work rules.
If we fixed other areas (rigs, min day, vacation, training, reserve pay....) W2s could improve significantly. IMO, we've already gave up enough 76 seaters. Scope and work rules are difficult to recapture.
