460 and climbing but as pilots flow that number will decrease to 400 or so.

300 eligible

Not quite, CP is hiring 20 a month with weekly classes scheduled from now until Apr 2014. We also need more bodies for FT/DT. Total list to run the airline will be around 470-480. We are hiring 150-170 people up unitl May and only 24 hae started classes inthe last month or so. Classes are filled into Oct/Nov I believe.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure someone will) but I thought that only the compass guys hired before the sale were flow eligible?

Yes, and of those original 400ish, only 60 have flowed so far.

My buddy just got hired by UAL this week. He told me that his interview was an at home psych eval that he did online and then just an interview and sim. Does anyone know if Delta is going to change their screening process or continue with all the test that they have given in the past on day one?

F16DUDE, you are correct, 409 were eligible just after the sale date. 61 flowed in '10. Another 40 plus have quit for other jobs. As of the last seniority list (a couple mos old) there are 303 still eligible.

As of today, the testing process at Delta will remain the same.

Day 1
  • Personality test
  • Aviation knowledge
  • Cognitive skills test
  • HR Interview
If you pass the first day you are given a "conditional letter of employment"

Day 2
  • Medical test
  • MMPI test
  • Shrink interview

Does anyone have mandatory retirement numbers for DAL beyond what APC (2027) has listed?

Search was unsuccessful.

Thanks.
