Uh, seriously?

If true, I know a couple good guys that interviewed in 2010 that WEREN'T offered that same break.

If true, I wonder how many else have been given that. As opposed to turned over to the board for evaluation?

That happens with fair frequency. If it comes back with an invalid take (i.e. it thinks you were projecting), then you get another chance.

Once it takes, then its cleared or off to the looney bin you go.

It'd be interesting to know how to decipher the score to tell the difference between a "projecting" person and an axe murderer.

Or this guy;

I'm not a shrink... I don't know.

Besides, the shrink stuff is a snapshot of your personality and mental health at the time. Things can change as the decades go by.

Ok, so come on guys, I was just talking a friendly discussion of the psych evals and everyone goes off. First we're slamming me for being only a B student in English/Grammar and then we're talking axe murderers.....anyone else feeling like people are taking this way too seriously? Hence, someone I personally would not want to be on a 4 day with. Chill people.... Let me buy you a beer.

Thanks for the info. I'll just take the separation order.

I wasn't picking on you, inglesh B studints, OR acks murdereres

It just piqued my curiosity that the psyche eval has even MORE subjectivity to it than one would think.

I agree. I will even argue that the psych interview is the most important step of the selection process. They are trained professionals. That being said, failing a psych eval does not mean you are crazy. It simply means that the airline you are applying for might not be a good fit for you.
