On the bright side DAL lets you keep your jury money.:)

And gives you paid time off for jury duty.

What also works is tell them you will give the guy a fair trial then hang the guilty B*****d.

Haha that's funny etc but don't sit around and wonder why idiot jurys make rediculous decisions. Serving on a jury is one of the absolute highest calls to service in our entire society. By far. Yet so many people work as hard as they can to avoid it. Sad.

Congrats! I heard a friend also got called for that class. He interviewed on 2 Sep, so it looks like its still trending about 2 months out for now.

I am a CJO the week of 9-11 Sep. At this point I am guessing all calls have gone out for the 3 Nov class. Regardless, I am hopeful that I might be in the next class, which is projected for 17 Nov.

Anyone else get called beyond a 2 Sep interview date for a class?

I actually enjoy it and get called routinely once a year. Its a money loser in LA though, they pay you peanuts and only give you mileage reimbursement one way. Haven't quite figured that one out yet....oh yeah, its California.

Can anyone confirm that there will be a Nov 17th class? Have any classes been announced beyond Nov 3rd? Thanks

Are MDs a fait accompli?

Just joined APC, and I'm still a long way out from applying (a little more than 3 yrs remaining on AD).

But in starting to think through the details, I became curious - do any new hires at DAL go right to 73/75/A3 series, or should one count on putting in time on the MDs/717s?

Can anyone who has recently started training share their experience? TIA.
