Are the Endeavor SSP guys in the 10/5 class? Looking on the spreadsheet they were in the early class dates until July when they shrank the class sizes. Since there are a few OTS guys going into the 10/5 class it would seem that history would be that the SSP and Compass flows were all in that early class.

Wow this thread went dormant. So a question for all to chime in on. There have been several posts implying the possibility of one large class in November and December because of the holidays. Does anyone in the pool or in training have any definitive info on this? Did any of the guys in the later October class ask the question when they got the call? Tried to call AF. No answer. Therefore, I can offer no answer. As it stands, it looks like there are 3 more April 23rd CJOs in the pool. How many will be in next class is anyone's guess, as is how many classes will be offered between now and December 31.

Anyone know if you have to have a current Airline Apps account to get the call for a class date? I have my CJO but don't see the need to pay for another full year when I don't plan to apply to another carrier.

No, I don't think you need to keep your app account open.

I faced the same decision. I wouldn't let the account lapse for several reasons. The biggest of these were that AK told us not to let the account lapse...but that was nearly 2 years ago.

My airline apps was scheduled to expire between CJO and class and they do need it active for contacting you. I called airline apps and spoke with Mr. Ryhne and he extended it gratis when I explained the situation. Very classy and nice guy. They're making a mint on apps these days, I'm sure holding one or two open isn't a big issue.

Don't cheap out now, you're almost there. AK specifically told us to keep it open until class began. I have no idea why they needed it, but I figured what's another $60...

I had the same concern recently. I was assured that AirlineApps doesn't pull your application information when the account expires, you simply can't update it. I checked with AK as well and was assured that so long as the contact information was still correct an account renewal wasn't required. However, others cautioned otherwise and I wound up renewing anyway for peace of mind. YMMV.
