Default So the precedent has been set concessions

So the precedent has been set that we must take concessions to get an early or on time contract. Other than that we will be parked.

That means unless we settle for more concessions in 3 years this new TA will be a 5 year contract minimum(trip NMB and all)...followed by getting released to strike.

So when do you want to stop the concessions with the current contract or the new TA? At some point we will be parked. It's just a matter of how much we want to lose before that decision is made.

That's being said I don't think we will be parked. If we are though I rather be parked with this contract than the new TA.

We are quickly running out of stuff to give away!

And in 2018 we WILL be trading more profit sharing for another two 3% pay raises, count on it.

It's what we do, now that that pattern has been firmly established.

I just hope that in 2018 we can squeeze one more nickel per hour of per diem out of a company earning $6 Billion per year!

I met two yes voters yesterday. Both were voting yes for the same reasons. Time value of money and both were convinced this was the best deal we were going to get. They both thought if we voted this down, the next deal will be worse or the same, but we will lose the time value of money. One said he was told by an LEC rep that the total cost increase of the contract this year was $250 million which is less than what I thought it was. That confused me.

I think they've said the contract is $1.1B over 3 years so about $367M per year.

So the farmer and his newly hired hand had finished breakfast and were suiting up to head to the fields.....the hired hand remarked......"say...if we were to eat lunch now, think how much more work we could get done by not stopping for lunch later?"

"Good idea"...the farmer says.....with lunch finished and once again suiting up to head to the fields...the hired hand logically observed..."say, if we ate dinner now...we could get even more done by working later".

"Even better idea" says the farmer......and with dinner under their belts the farmer starts suiting up to head to the fields......but the hired hand was shedding his work clothes.

The farmer says. "what are you doing?...we have work to do in the fields!!".....the hired hand says "Well now......I always go to bed after having dinner.."

What the farmer doesn't know is that the hired hand is a FALPA "volunteer" on full farm pay loss to post on the Internet, so the hired hand is actually money ahead.

Heyas,

You do a lot of industry work right? I read that FlightSafety is the largest operator of CRJ simulators in the world. How does this TA affect the loss of CRJ training for a company like that?
