Caplinger and his DPA are not the only option.
I don't think ALPA has come to terms with the revolutionary nature of what just happened.
The Delta pilots have found their voice.

If ALPA doesn't do the right thing there will be others who will step up to lead the fight for a representation election. Caplinger won't be a factor.

65-35 was an astounding and unmistakable repudiation of our current leaders.
If Donatelli and the rest of the old guard attempt to hang on to power, I think we will see the removal of ALPA as our bargaining agent.

I think that would be a mistake.

Moak....along with his predecessors.....has parlayed the line pilot provided platform of union leadership into a multi million dollar compensation package.....so your observation of "put a few million in my pocket...and you can have my seat"......is EXACTLY what moak has done.
