Default Resignation

I wholeheartedly agree that the YAY reps resign honorably before being recalled.

Lets put someone in position that is willing to back their pilots up. Clearly, the current YAY reps do not consider their constituents a valuable or serious voice. Rumor has it that one of the LEC reps called his folks, "Clowns". I will do my best to find the truth on this unacceptable behavior.

I thank them dearly, but now it is time to do the right thing and resign.

We can not go into negotiations with the current set of people. Donetelli, the reps and the NC already told us we will not get more.

We need to FIRE these guys if they do not resign.

Congratulations fellow brothers on a historic victory.

By their own words, the YES voters on the MEC and the entire MEC administration have disqualified themselves from any further participation in this process.

They told us plainly that this is the best they can do. They fired every bullet. They endorsed Mr. Anderson's statement that any subsequent deal will not be better.
The Delta pilots have rejected their position by an astonishing margin. They are done.

Now they must resign immediately or act only in a caretaker role until the pilots have at least been given the opportunity to replace them in an orderly fashion. Some of them may survive recall. I don't see how, but its possible.

In any case:

There can be no further negotiations with management until we sort this out.

This MEC administration has ZERO authority to do anything but facilitate the transition phase.

We will go through this process in an orderly and business-like manner. But go through it we must.

Ten Years and Check Essential...

I agree with both of you. However, why not consider replacing ALPA.

Have you sent in your DPA cards?

Don't get all giggity giggity. This was a referendum against a TA, not for DPA.

Perversely, this "no" vote probably ensured ALPA remains on the property.

Provided, of course, timely and appropriate reforms are enacted.

I suspect Donatelli and friends will be under significant pressure from ALPA national to resign.

The whole lot needs to return to the line. For the remainder of their careers.

One reason that (D)ALPA is no longer listening to you is that they have no competitor. Their seat isn't hot enough. Heck, it's not even warm.

Sending in a DPA card is not a vote for DPA. But it sends a stronger, clearer message to ALPA.

The process is working, but far from over. We are just getting started.

I strongly disagree and it plays into my conspicery theory.

Serious question, who wins between DPA and none of the above. Remember this is a southern & conservative company. Don't walk us into the ambush.......

If it's really there and not a figment of my warped imagination
