Most of all, I take issue in this specific thread, where the OP hasn't been clear about their political ambitions, and is going cray-cray on others, with no discernable plan of their own.
As far as the majority getting their way, I'm 100% comfortable with it. I don't expect the pilots to have a plan, but I do expect one from the lanyard manufacturers.
You're right on one point: I need to relax, and do something else. Have a great week-end.

You had me at "it".
I'm waiting to see how this shakes out. I don't expect a plan from individual no voters, but the norganizers have the floor, and I expect them to use it very wisely. They've been working on their message since before the TA was reached. Pre-supposing the outcomes of recalls isn't really a plan. If there are three good candidates that want to step up in NYC, I'll be happy to consider them. In the meantime, it's true, I have a special disdain for politicians who hide among us, and start a campaign that's 0% platform, 100% hostility. "Go to he!!" Isn't the most inspiring slogan I've ever seen.

That's what concerns me about this process. I could swear I heard or inferred from leadership that there was no plan B. No plan survives first contact and any worthy Admiral (or General) has contingency plans.
This is going to take time to sort out. The fact that the company didn't have a response for the media when asked is telling.
The MEC is in (or should be) chaos, dogs and cats sleeping together - real wrath of God stuff. Where do they go? Donated must resign, this was a vote of no confidence. His Admin has to be cleaned out and the reps take over. C44 will see some changes but recalls are futile this close to the election cycle.
We need to take a deep breath, wind the clock and come up with our own plans. If we feel strongly about them, communicate them and start to build a path. just my 2¢.

Developing Plan B was supposed to be Harwood's job.
But he and Hanson were the architects of the fear campaign.
Having "no alternative" to ratification was the heart of that strategy.
The whole "Anderson will be mad and never speak to us again" and "the NMB will put us on ice for years" thing came right from our so called "Strategic Planning" Committee.

Having no Plan B was a deliberate thing.

Having said that, those two guys should be shown the door. Thanked for their service but firmly shown the door.
