I'll bet the top 50 ATL88B's are making close to 300K easily.
Throw in the ERb's in JFK and ATL, and I'd say well OVER single digit f/o's are making north of that figure. Add in 777, 330, 765, and 747 b's and you're WAY probably closer to 1000 or more............ |

Bull.
I'd bet the percentage of FOs breaking 300k is a single digit number. A low single digit. Same for Captains making over 400. Its not many. |

lots of copilots...bull****. I guess if you says it's true, that makes it so!
I flew with a guy who made ~ $260K last year and he said he was sick for a few months. Did it on greenslips without even trying. Welcome to the 7ER -- right seat. |
......and let me restate. This is a problem for the company. Guys are finding the right seat to be so profitable that they aren't moving to the left seat.
Unless they do something, we would have new hires getting AE's to the left seat and I don't think they can do that for insurance purposes. Maybe, sailing can shed light on that? |
Where is all the uproar over all the low seniority FO's who will make more than the 190 Captains???

B scales. No pension. Seat stagnation. A decade or more of economic disaster.
Am I detecting a sense of righteous indignation in these comments? *** are you all complaining about? Wouldn't it be a GOOD thing if every FO made 300K and every Captain 400K a year? Adjusted for inflation...they would still lag the earning power of an airline pilot from 1969. Here is another thing...the COMPANY has created, and is ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE for this circumstance by chronically understaffing the airline. And to make this money....these pilots first have to make their off time available to the schedulers....and THEN show up and fly the trips. gmafb. we have national alpa desk sitters making twice what these line pilots make....along with a pension, obscene housing allowance, car allowance, expense accounts, and the resume boost that enables them to turn on us as hired gun consultants after moving on. you want to point fingers about compensation? I suggest you begin there....and not with your fellow line pilot. |

I'm far happier with C12 than NA15. The DALPA presented and sold company opener. You know, the one that gifted our wide body scope, allowed a ranting lunatic the ability to allow foreign carriers to fly in delta livery, that abrogated FO seniority, that cut down on greenslip opportunity, that punished everyone for the supposed transgressions of a few, that actually cut corporate costs, you know the one we were lied to about. Oh yeah, and how about that nice little bone job LOA that was tagged on to the end of it. Man am I glad we dodged that bullet. Nope, they didn't do anything right. |

I'm happy for them. It's not our fault the company is in the staffing position they are in. [deleted] and it's not DALPA's job to help the company fix the situation without proper compensation. 8% is not proper compensation. If you think time off is a problem for FO's, take a look at the daily trip coverage in NYC. You will see all types of letters you have never seen. Scheduling make it work and FO's are getting paid. So much, they see no need to upgrade. It's probably leverage that we didn't capitalize on. |
