Is it possible for folks to cut the "YOU'RE AN ALPA STOOGE!" BS?
I commute and I have a 6 year old for whom I'm a single parent. I've been able to make it to one whole LEC meeting in 7 years. Any inkling of even considering ALPA work in the future was erased when I saw how disrespectful a handful of guys at the meeting were to the reps. I don't have issues w guys voicing their issues/complaints, but this was over the top. And that was the "in public" version of the relationship.

I mean I did recently call someone a stooge, but that wasn't you.
Anyhow, which meeting were you at that the pilots in attendance were so openly rude and disrespectful?

One of the reasons I stopped coming to this place, is we say we're for open dialog but we're not. If you don't agree with the echo chamber your some sort of ___________ (fill in the blank)

The meeting I made it to was the SLC LEC meeting in early June. It was held not long after the TA was put out, so I'll acknowledge there were more likely to be guys wanting to vent than a standard LEC meeting. We can still be grown ups when we disagree with each other or come across issues that we don't like.

Lol, copy, not a stooge in the eyes of DH at least.

Do you really believe the first bit, or are you just trying to throw out red meat to get pats on the back? If you think it's true, put out some proof. If it's you rumor mongering, you do realize that's going to start a feedback loop where within a day it'll be on the FB page quoted as straight from the mouth of Ferris' neighbor's cousin's girlfriend, right?
The 88 is the 88 especially in the summer and 5 leg days where you never get the cabin temp below 85 much less the cockpit below 90 and every leg is an loe complete with some Mel brain teaser. And then you have a four day and then another four day and then one day off and another four day because no matter what your % in category is, what pbs spits out never meets expectations.
And then imagine a chunk of senior trips being removed before you can bid on them. And you're going to face this month after month after month with no break... I guess i should say I get why fpl is so addictive.
What was that about an office job again?

No proof. Just seems plausible reading their stuff. And I'm not starting it, I'm repeating it from fb and chit chat and using the things I've read from MH and MS and Curly and so on as my guide to say, I actually could find that to be plausible.
What do you get paid on fpl? 92 hours at whatever you can hold? That's no ordinary office job.

I guess whether its the 4th floor, or cpo or alpa, there are just some people who want to escape the line as quickly and as often as possible.
And some people even do all 3.
Speaking of which, those freezing cold 717s from airTran even in the summer... yeah evidently that got fixed... how's that ac on the bus?
