You talking about us? Or the classless ass that Ron is? Just clarifying.

It makes chit chat hard to read. The guy seems nice enough but it's just wierd.

Soooo true. I don't know the guy, but I want to slap the **** out of him when I read his posts. Maybe he thinks it's funny, who knows.

Does anyone else find this entire thread disturbing. Posting a Delta pilot's name, who holds no office, on a public access forum and associating his name with an aviation incident. Come on guys, you can do better than this. This entire thread should be taken down.

Yes...the whole thing is way out of bounds. Certainly hope nothing like this happens to the posters who are airing this out like this. Don't know the guy or what his views are...may well warrant the opprobrium, but keep it to the relevant issues.

Come on, the guy vocally put a target on his butt, and you are surprised people are shooting at it?

I have worked with great people at Delta through ALPA, some probably for the TA and many who were part of the ..."6500 morons..." RM mentioned.

As a captain, I would never call my FO a moron on Facebook. Its bad for his position, and likely embarassing to the MEC. Even though we are all required to have thick skin and the ability to compartmentalize, if I was berated like that in a crew lounge I would not fly with this guy. Safety would likely be compromised in that kind of tense climate. This WAS his personal page...perhaps in public he reins it in enough to be effective. But after reading his berating posts...I took offense and I do not even fly at Delta.

Good luck guys...you have led the industry for a while. Your union and company cooperation...while at times not perfect...has gotten you ahead of your peers. Outside looking in, it seems to me like the company made a gross over-reach and the majority of DeltA pilots slapped their hands away. I respect the guts to do that. Enjoy your PS in the meantime...

But for all of us in the industry, hope you can work together and around the drama. Respecting each other should help. Good luck and Godspeed.

I flew with this guy when I was on the mad dog as a new hire. He is a strange duck. When I asked a simple question about DPA, because I was new, he flew off the handle and went into an hour long tirade against TC. Every turn he disappeared into the terminal and upon returning to the flight deck he proceeded to tell me about maxing his credit cards out to buy more gold. His goal in life is to buy a house with one gold coin he smelted out of all the gold he's hoarded. He's ex-Navy btw.

Not really surprised. Disgusted, certainly, but not surprised. Going after people for what they are posting on personal Facebook accounts just proves how thin their skin is, and turns what should be an orderly political transition into a witch hunt.

Prove him wrong. You've got the keys now, so get a better TA and shut him up forever. Going after his wife and digging up his past doesn't put $120 grand back in his pocket. Win and you keep him in a corner; wallow in politics, get parked at the NMB (or truly screw up and get our next contract imposed by Congress), and the majority will swing back to the we-told-you-so crowd.

Posting the picture is another thing entirely. That is probably the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen on APC. Very bad karma.
