Perhaps more remarkable than who won:
If I'm not mistaken-
59% voter participation shatters all historic records for LEC elections.
Astounding.
The Delta pilots have found their voice.
You can bet management is listening.
This vote is truly a powerful statement that will help in our negotiations.

It would be a long way back for the Moakists.
Thankfully, I think that philosophy of labor management relations is gone for good. It worked OK while we were bankrupt I suppose but it cost us dearly over the last few years.
Malone will have full power now. I hope he uses it wisely.
A lot will depend on management's response to the revolution within ALPA.
So far I think John Malone has played it exactly right. Very circumspect, no premature militancy.
The door is still open to preserve the good relationship. Management will just have to 1)open their wallet a bit more, 2)back away from the outsourcing and 3)quit pushing us toward flying to the FAR maximums if they want that good relationship.
What's different with the Moakists gone is that if Anderson chooses to pick a fight, I think we now have a pilot group and an MEC that is ready to go that route as well.
Its up to Richard.
