Any idea about rough estimate with regards to %.
"our" union is touting that our PS is "similar" to yours. Will be doing the math to see what we get compared to what you got last year, and what you get this year.
Last year we got 3.7% off of 1.97B in profits. Word on our streets is that we are looking at anywhere from 10-16%, depending on who you talk to.
Can someone confirm the total % of PS to Delta Profits for 2014?
Thanks
Motch
PS) Congrats on the check this year~

What if you want to max 401k out with the ps money? The way it is designed on Deltanet you have to guess at the % to get the max amount..They should have an option for " I want to fill my 401k to the maximum amount for 2016, then receive the remainder of the money as cash".

It should be a pretty easy math exercise to figure what % to contribute in order to hit the $18K max employee amount.
Here's a formula:
18,000 / the amount you are projected to receive = X
multiply X by 100. That will give you the number to enter as a %.
You can fly a jet. If you are getting an estimated $36,000 tell them to take out 50%.
BTW, it's all still an estimate, so it's somewhat a wag anyway. Additionally, you could have had monies put into your 401K on the 1/15 and 1/31 pay days. Those amounts would go against the $18K total and reduce how much more you could put into your 401K.
I thought the self service site was set up pretty well.
Good problems to have...
