That is more of the driver, IMO, of any lack of lanyard wearing. We often look at the 777As as having it made. But, those guys are all dead zoners. They dont care what you wear around your neck.
Well, they did lose the most money, in both the DB plan and the pay cuts, and have the least time to recover. They have seen many management teams come and go, and many DALPA leaders come and go too. Remember Dave Greenburg and Richard Colby? Yeah, that's when I lost some faith. JM helped restore my faith back in 2001, but LM crushed it again.

I think most of them gave up caring, and I don't blame them a bit. That does NOT mean they are koolaid drinkers, or DPA guys either, they just don't give a fk anymore. I did just fly with a super senior Cap (less than #50) who had less than a year to go last July, when he voted NO to that TA. He made many good points about the company over-reaching, and their wanting to take their bonus money out of our PS payouts BEFORE we got ours, etc.

He went down to the A lounge when we got in, and picked up a lanyard. He retires in June, but he's all in for the fight to restore the profession, even though he most likely won't ever be restored for the millions he lost.

I use an ORANGE pen, except in the logbook where blue/black ink is required.

Won't likely? Zero chance. It's ok to say it. He is one of the few guys who should have Voted Yes. The best he can hope for is retro from Jan.

Some paint the CAs as not being onboard. The orange is weak in both seats, but the next contract will affect the FOs way more than the dead zone CAs.
