Simply outstanding! !
United's me too language and American's Doug Parker commitment for his pilots to have the highest pay ensures our management that we will be competitive and our counterproposal is more than fair. More than reasonable.
When we took the survey and cemented our counterproposal, not one Delta pilot knew our 2016 profits were going to be up 48%.
Our negotiators nailed it yet again

Pitch perfect.
Especially after the last couple of weeks watching the TA15 guys defend their POS here and on FB. It's healthy to question, but their hypocrisy and 5th grade antics are embarrassing.

I must admit, I was smiling by the end of it. In the words of Judge Chamberlain Haller it "was lucid, intelligent, and well thought out".
Pitch perfect.

Hedging idiocy gone and huge drop in jet fuel prices.

That was an outstanding update. Finally a negotiating committee that can use economics to argue for the pilots, not for management. These guys get it.
Continual historic record profits while our costs are well below the industry standard. Thank you Steve, Heiko, Jeff and Ron. You have my trust and full support.

I am no fan of the philosophy of the previous DALPA administration but I am not sure continually berating them helps.
In my opinion by continually denigrating them we are prolonging unnecessary division within the Pilot group. The more we continue to take shots at them the more they feel compelled to prove they were right.
This leads to foolish FB diatribes that sow division in the Pilot group.
Best to just to let them fade away. I would prefer that short of academic analysis, studying and learning from past mistakes, that we just ignore them.
Just my 2 cents - Scoop

It's nice to finally hear our reps argue the pilots perspective.
We were never going to make big gains having folks in there who thought management was correct and it was the pilots who were wrong.
Inconceivable!
