Default No More Sleepy Ed Comments

I don't think we should refer to the CEO of Delta Air Lines as "Sleepy Ed." Instead I propose that we show proper respect without becoming too formal. My compromise is that from now on he is referred to as "Mr Ed!!"

Yes, he really said that. It is where he earns the name Sleepy Ed. I think the Delta Air Lines Pilots should have an military style naming committee in his honor. Call the snacko and order him a nametag.

Bastian also told the panel that what the company is asking of its pilots could be worse. "One of the things that keeps me up at night is whether we're being aggressive enough," Bastian said. "I wonder whether we should be asking for more, not less. I'm not suggesting we do, but that's the thing I worry about."

So you're saying is.....the CEO's "Ask Ed Anything" should be named, "Straight From The Horses' Mouth"?

(Sorry. I'll go back to the regional board now.)

Why not? During one contract negotiation, George Bagley (QX CEO) actually wrote in the onboard magazine that his pilots were "juvenile delinquents in uniforms."

Don't worry. He does it on chit chat as well.
I think its the "attention" thingy he's lacking!

I believe Sleepy equated us to janitors as well during the bankruptcy hearing. The judge shut him down quickly though and told him she doubted the janitors at Delta were as highly trained as the pilots....or something to that effect. I dont have the exact quote but i am sure someone on here has the reference.
