Ugh. Enough of the dumb HR questions. We're all human. Not the way to "get to know somebody." That takes days.
Dump HR. Bring pilot candidates in for a few days. Hang out. Talk about real stuff. Drink some beers. Tell stories. That's real. Not the current process.

Years ago at a job fair, B6 basicly did this. Met people during the day at the job fair. Recruiters would invite folks they liked to dinner and drinks. About 20 guys/girls. Turned into a casual group interview. I thought it was a great idea. As the night went on, they told the people they liked to meet later at another location. At thst point the recruiters basicly offered you a job pending a formal interview in NY.
