Not unprecedented. ATL ER was getting New Hires in 2014 but stopped some time in the late months of that year.

There's a breakdown of the drops (below) from then through now. The 7ERB needs fluctuate but, as you can see by the numbers, the vast majority of new hires have gone to NBs in NY. In the near term, you won't see many - if any - NYC88Bs in new hire drops as DAL sorts out Maddog manning to accommodate the upcoming aircraft retirements, consolidation in ATL, and restrictions into LGA.

I'd say suoer junior on the ER in atl is worse than being on the 88. Those trips are garbage
