We used to have a domestic (767) category and an intl (7ER) category. The domestic went away so.......

FYI the 765 is the 767-400. Used to have a domestic (764) and intl (765). The domestic closed so....

Thanks. Hats what I suspected but it didn't make sense when he had a separate 765 category listed

It's not a 737 problem it's a software problem. Delta has the common VNAV software not geometric. Geometric will do exactly as you say wrt staying in path when changing speed. Delta bought the cheaper version.

Is that a picture of spaaks, or simply one admired by spaaks?

Not for the last 18 months or so, however, according to Crew Resources these spots are just the tip of the iceberg in preparation for increased staffing for the 7ER 2017 summer schedule.

Down side is after the summer, anyone that gets these will most likely be junior for a while until they can bid off. It's a bittersweet deal for new hires.

As WD said, this isn't normal. ATL 7ERB to new hires constitute less than 1.5% of new hire drops since Jan 2014 when hiring resumed.

There's a breakdown of the drops (below) from then through now. The 7ERB needs fluctuate but, as you can see by the numbers, the vast majority of new hires have gone to NBs in NY. In the near term, you won't see many - if any - NYC88Bs in new hire drops as DAL sorts out Maddog manning to accommodate the upcoming aircraft retirements, consolidation in ATL, and restrictions into LGA.

New Hire Assignments - 85 Classes: 13 Jan ’14 thru 6 Feb ’17
