No, they don't. They provide direction, but they do not own the NC. You are assigning blame to a majority of the MEC for something you don't like.

Last year the majority said VOTE YES!!! Now the majority wants to get us a product that they don't have to tell us to vote YES for because it will be self-evident that it is worthy of a YES. If only that majority were larger on the MEC.

Please try to be patient. I am likely one in the middle of the bell curve. And I am in no hurry.

I can't help but think ur desperate for a 50.1% TA.
The Moakies picked this MC/NC. Fortunately 12 MEC members are trying to get us the best possible TA despite the handcuffs from your crowd.

The NC works for them. They're in charge. They're in charge of the MEC as well. I hold them accountable for their actions.

So they're letting themselves be handcuffed by someone THEY control?

Is this like a Fifty Shades thing? can't they just say a safe word, or something, so it stops?

Yes. They've been handcuffed by the NC the Moakies put in place. The AIPs were not what the MEC asked the NC to do.

In a perfect world, the MC/NC should be pulled and replaced by like minded people as the MEC and this pilot group. Unfortunately, that's not happening, at least not yet.

The NC has there own agenda. Not the same as the majority on the MEC.

That dog won't hunt. They've been negotiating for months. These AIP's have been developed over time, and passed back-and-forth to the MEC, and the NC has been directed, redirected, reredirected, rereredirected, to the outcome we have now.

You can't be in charge, and not accountable. The MEC owns the AIP's and the process, and the 12 own the MEC.

On the other hand, a 65% no lets you go back in, specify what needs to be changed, and get a deal. That's a serious, serious hammer. The vote results give you a place to start from. I can't see how a leader fears a vote, if they're confident that they have the true pulse of the group.

I think these guys are scared because they have the pulse of the group, but refuse to accept the readings. They also have a very tight read on the supporters that keep them elected, and they're not in agreement. There is a conflict of interest at play.

I had two of the 12 tell me directly that for the most part, the group is where it always is, since the AIP's: the middle of the bell-curve asks questions, and waits for a vote (that's your majority, right there), one small-end of the curve wants to take the company's offer yesterday, and the other small-end has already decided to vote no, so they don't want a vote.
Are you saying there is no way to change the aips, including the pos PS aip, without being parked?

Why not? The 12 must be awfully weak not to fire someone they employ if they don't due what is asked. Every step of the AIP's has been briefed over and over to the MEC. The MEC has been directly involved in every aspect of the process. The AIP's have been reached over the course of 8 months of negotiations. If the NC went rogue they should have been shut down long ago. Sounds like maybe the MEC should be recalled for incompetence if what you say is true.
