I had an active DPA card after C2012 and am no fan of ALPA. But when DPA advocated that its followers actively undermine negotiations by not joining the picket line or supporting ALPA’s negotiation write in campaign they crossed a line with me. It seems that in their quest to harm ALPA they would now do whatever they thought would work even if it was detrimental to the Delta pilots.
I don’t mean to paint all no advocates with the same brush. Some are truly making reasoned arguments against TA.
But I see some of the same ALPA bashers and a few very new posters that are vehemently opposed to the current TA. Is this the latest plan by DPA supporters to hurt ALPA no matter what?
Again I am talking about the ones who seem to be protesting a bit too much and occasionally mix in a little ALPA bash at the same time. It is pretty easy to spot them.
Just as one example this was recently posted: "This TA is an insult, time to back DPA"

so your theory is line pilots are so dissatisfied with alpa..... their desire to install an alternative cba would produce an effort to derail an amended agreement that has 30% raises, full retroactivity, no change to ps, and scope changes that have at least some balance in our interest?

the last ta was a genuine insult.
the present amendment to our working agreement is at least in the ballpark. no thanks to the many advocates here and within our cba of the previous defective effort.
pass or fail....this ta does not materially correct the underlying corrosive damage to our representation circumstance.
pro-advocates of the ta, here, and within our cba, should appreciate flavoring the effort with anything other than it is better, but certainly short of an ideal achievement....risk fueling the insurgency they desire to squelch.
