I think it's healthy to know as many comparatives as possible...after all, we're continually told that we are compensated relative to the industry and not what we are (or we think we are) worth.

Since the company and SD went out of their way to acknowledge we deserve industry-leading pay, work rules and benefits, it's completely fair to validate our TA through that lens. In many ways, that comparison is subjective and none of our personal metrics are necessarily a perfect fit for others.
Some items are not accurate such as HA per diem. Overall it's far less then ours. Our DC plan is the only one that pays on profit sharing which boosts our payout above everyone else even at 15% and it goes to 16% 1 Jan. Some comparisons they use the date as of signing instead of 1 Jan 17 a whole month later. Our flight attendants get a higher daily rate but for a given standard 2 day recurrent only get 2 days pay instead of the 3 or even 4 we would get with travel days.

So, "it's complicated" is a better answer, because in all those cases the emailed statements are indeed correct. The single inaccuracy you cite (Hawaiian per diem) is also "complicated". Our domestic per diem is indeed less than their domestic rate (and not just on DOS), but more than their inter-island rate, for which we have no direct comparitor.

We all have access to the full 68-page contract comparison, and hundreds of pages of contractual language. In my mind there's nothing wrong with some highlights of the negative aspects for voters to contemplate or disregard at their leisure. In my case, they aren't enough to make me vote no...but they remind me that should industry profits disappear, much of what makes us "industry-leading" will evaporate.

Let's all hope that doesn't happen.

Believe that these are from DPA - go get your information from the ALPA sites. Everything else has an agenda.

HA international per diem along with UPS are the industry leading.

AA also gets DC on profit sharing.

JetBlue Night Override is $13/hr between 0100-0500 base local time. If a flight is scheduled into that time all of the block will have the night override. If a flight is late and goes into that time frame, then it rounds up to the hour. So if you block in at 0100 base local time, you get one hour of night override.

I forget what international pay is, but it's only for foreign destinations that require special training. So that's just Lima, Quito, Mexico City, Bogota, Medellin, Liberia, and San Jose County. Flights to any other international destinations don't qualify for international override.

That basically means only FLL based crews have the chance for international pay.

The PS is not capped at 5%, the pool is 5% of the pre tax profits. I think that is what you meant to say, I just wanted to clarify that.
