I find a lot of pilots are adding a extra month to the retro. The Jan 16 pay check is for flying performed in Dec of 15 and will not be included. There will be 10 months of retro.

We will get 11 months of retro. The NNP stated the Dec 15 paycheck (making November right for pay) will be at the old rates and the Dec 16 retro check will cover retro thru November. The Dec 31 paycheck will be at the new rates.

Oh well. Those "folks in Herndon" include the E&FA analysts that we use at the table, an ERISA attorney, and a Membership Dept to ensure pilots eligible to vote get the chance to - including the group that became Active members during the balloting window

Why can't all those things just happen in the ether? Why should be have to pay other union workers with no split loyalties to do those things for us?

Looks like we'll be getting another dues refund. Waiting for the griping about that, too.

I am not complaining about paying dues on the 18%. That's a given. I believe paying dues on DC excess is not right. If you still had room in your 401k, would you pay dues on it then? It just doesn't seem right to charge dues in one situation but not the other with regards to DC excess.

I've been kinda busy this week. I'll try and remember to call Dalpa on Monday and try and get a definitive answer.

It only takes about 5 minutes to look at the bottom of each PAS from January to October to come up with how many hours you have been paid.

If you are lazy, there is a 12 month average on your last PAS. Times that amount by 10 and you will be close to what your retro amount should be.

I think my method is faster. It took 2 minutes and is probably more accurate.

Denny

I assumed 15 Dec would be the new rates. Either way some are counting the 15 Jan check as getting retro. It won't.

In answer to my question, I found out that the DC Excess amount is NOT subject to ALPA dues. :):)

Putting my $$$ away in place of my lost pension Fe(a)rd.

Big screen?!!??! For what, football?

Maybe if my taxes didn't go to pay for someones' mom-in-law, who has been feeding off my taxes for 8 years, to get a govt. pension as a babysitter..........................

Or for Obama's 5th new multi-million home for a DB who earns <$500k per year.....

Ha!

Sincerely. Debbie!

p.s. sorry for the political rant....
