Agree to disagree. He vowed to return to the line when he initially ran if the TA was ratified...so he should have done that instead of run for re-election. Personally I'm very happy with the results from today.

Yup. Things would be fine of John had won. Things will be fine with the new administration.
Very telling that John's EA is already online advertising the recall of the council 44 f/o reps. He is very disappointed in them.
Of course, he told me when I last saw him that he was completely apolitical.

What a joke this union is. Necessary, but a joke. It won't change with DPA (which I don't support) or any other independent union. My only goal is to get dues down to 1 percent. Let's pay less for a bunch of grown men acting like this...

Good thing that I've never been to Chit Chat and removed myself from the FB group. No idea of the ins and outs of all this.
I think that we would have been well served with JM being re elected, but I will give the new leadership the benefit of the doubt. I assume that they ran to represent all the pilot group and that they will do a good job.
