FWIW, C44 introduced this resolution two years ago ... United blocked, if I'm not mistaken.
The smaller airlines are concerned about funding their MEC's and do not want to have to ask for MCF money.
Larger airlines are well funded and sometimes process dues refunds to their pilots (as we have).
The end state goal should not just be a reasonable dues rate, but to see American return to the pilots' union and Southwest join.

I like the way you are thinking one step ahead. IF we could get all of us together in one union we would have a much stronger collective bargaining agent. Maybe Delta, United and AA could join SWAPA. While we are at it, let's get UPS and FedEx in the mix.
