Only in internet message board la-la land. If we had re-elected JM, that would have been very pro-pilot.

That said, I still disagree with the recall attempt, and voted accordingly.

what night and day difference in emails. This one appears to be authored by adults and not whining 4 year olds.

I'm glad you voted against recall. I'm not in C44 so I can't even vote on it. That being said, I think the big beef with JM is that he ran and assured the pilot group he would be a one and done...get us a contract then go back to the line....clearly that wasn't the case. If he hadn't said that, I don't think there would be the uproar there is.

Just one of almost 14,000 opinions though.

That's what Brielmann promised when he first ran in C66. Then after winning his second term he ran for MEC Vice Chairman before even starting his second term, and now he's MEC Secretary. No one seems to take issue with that.

Please post Brielmann's campaign letter saying he would only serve 1 term. Malone's is out there and readily accessible...

Sorry, I don't have something readily available from sooooo long ago. The "old guard" is now firmly in place.

Great contract Tell me what areas in our contract are industry leading? As a matter of fact, how about a section by section starting with Section 1. Personally I would have been happy to be top 3 in all areas. We are far from that. I'd venture to say that we're more like 4 or 5 in some of the most critical areas of our contract. We blew a once in a career bargaining environment to secure retro and industry standard rates. In fairness, we did keep the best profit sharing. Maybe we can trade that next time

Exactly.

We fell far too short on:

Vacation day

Needs to be 5:15

Training day (Delta flight attendants 4:45)

Needs to be 5:15

Minimum day

Needs to be 5:15

Defined contribution

Needs to be 18%

Medical/Dental premiums and deductibles

Premiums cut in half.

Deductibles $200 per individual and $400 per family.

I think "far too short" may be a stretch in some cases. Our PWA has plenty of good items and also plenty of bad items that we should focus on improving.

I am 100% in agreement that our medical/dental plans are in fact "far too short" - after using Tri-Care for the last decade I am amazed at how inadequate our plans are.
