We used to have wings n things deliver to our hotel in downtown Anchorage. These are the best damn wings in the world!!! Order the "nukes" with blue cheese, you will not regret it. We also went out to the Moose's Tooth in Midtown, great pizza but a long line to get in.

Bear Tooth pizza is the same company, towards the NW side of town.

Simon and Seafort's has a good half-price appetizers and beer in the afternoons. Great view of the inlet.

F Street is definitely the freightdog hangout and has excellent food.

I'll second Teriyaki Box as well from above. Very good and very fresh. I try to get down there for lunch every now and then.

Also, if you are in the mood for a greasy spoon, try the White Spot. Its on 4th towards the Sheraton.

I always liked the sourdough flapjacks and reindeer sausage at the Millenium.

Humpy's at night (food is mediocre, bear is good) and Snow city Cafe in the morning, a classic ANC layover!

Great place for breakfast or lunch (order the Halibut sandwich)
Does Shari still toss out customers who do not order properly? aka the soup Nazi

Greasy spoon? Lucky Wishbone. Or Peggy's for breakfast.

Hit the reindeer sausage carts on the sidewalks in the summer, or a decent meal with good beer on the top deck at the Snow Goose
