Default Endeavor or Envoy?

Separating military rotor guy with FW 135 experience during a break in service. 3000TT split evenly between FW and RW. Want a NYC base. Already have a CJO at Endeavor. Offered an interview by Envoy. Delta is the end goal.

Thoughts?

Either one comrade. But Envoy does have a garanteed flow vs an interview. NY is going to see lots of growth for envoy.

Envoy, you'll get to Delta faster from there. The OTS hire rate to Delta from Endeavor is miniscule. In order to qualify for your "guaranteed interview" at Endeavor, you have to be a captain for two years first. Get in at Envoy, have the flow in your back pocket and keep your app in at Delta. You'll be there faster than you think, they love mil guys.

Definitely Envoy,

While I am currently at Endeavor; right now Envoy has the better deal. The earlier version of the guaranteed interview (SSP) had about a 60% success rate. Additionally, you will gain seniority here fast but as you move up the ranks it will come to a crawling stop because there are a lot of lifers here. Endeavor is a good company don't get me wrong (not perfect) but I think you have better opportunity at Envoy, even more so since you are ex-military. (agree Delta loves that)

Although, there have been some military guys come through Endeavor to get hired OTS with Delta. Read the Endeavor threads as far back as last year for info.

Thanks guys. While I've certainly done the research on flows vs guaranteed interview, pay rates, bonuses, bases, upgrades, etc., is there anything about work rules, culture, or simple job enjoyment between the two anyone can share?

And more specifics - is NYC easy to get out of training?

What is reserve like these days in NYC?

Thank you so much!

NYC is perennially junior. You'll get it either way.

Like I suggested on the other forum, with your military connections and experience, plus better work rules at Endeavor, that's where I would go. NYC is as guaranteed as anything in aviation is to get out of training, and reserve on the 200 is next to nothing. Get your 121 and fixed wing time, call in to the guys you met down in ATL for your ATP, and you'll be set.

Nobody here works at both, so it's a little
Difficult to compare. It's usually the squeaky
Wheels that post on here. I work at 9e and
Mostly enjoy the job/company

Envoy has a flow and comparable pay. Stick the flow in your pocket and interview to delta and united.
