I doubt they’ve entirely excluded anyone who isn’t a 121; 135; or cfi type. More than likely they’re just looking for currency and ability to pass the training here with as few extra sims as possible.

Not to “shoot you down”, but this is inaccurate. A call to HR will clarify for you if you so desire.
Classes are staying full because there are so many applicants. There are 123 interviews scheduled in the next 5 weeks alone. Classes are full until April. EDV is hiring CFIs, military, and 121 as they apply. Heck, they have even extended CJOs to students who don’t currently meet the minimums, but should within 6 months.
There has been an influx of 121 folks, starting with your group from AWAC, and continuing til now with XJT. But those will taper off eventually. In the interim, while the large number of applicants allow the HR folks to be more selective and picky in the quality and attitude of applicants (there have been some 121 people turned away because of their “deserving” attitude during the interview in spite of the experience they offer), they are by no means excluding any group of such.
And now with the new pay rates, 2nd yr FO pay actually goes down vs. 1st yr. But that is no different than all the other regionals. Just new for us.

Someone shot me down on it earlier but other people have told me what i said, we’re only taking 121 guys and CFIs. No pipeline guys, banner towing. Etc etc. We are getting pretty picky now with applicants because we have so many. As others have said. Quite a back up to get a call now. Which i guess is a good thing. It proves money talks

"16 pilots resigned with the effective date of their resignations occurring in December (this total does not include pilots who submitted their resignations after December 31, and whose last day is later than December 31 or new hire pilots who resign while in training). December resignations include 6 Captains (2 to DAL) and 10 First Officers (1 to DAL).
This brings the total number of resignations in 2017 to 312 pilots (172 Captains and 140 First Officers), excluding pilots who resigned during new hire training.
In 2017, Endeavor welcomed 624 new hires."
