Funny thing is as he is saying that Delta is putting a bunch of new E-jets into service with Skywest

In other words buy the airline up and come what may with the parties involved.
Delta has already decided this now?

That's been the case since the day Compass was created by NWA. Nothing to see there.

So let’s say Delta acquires the Compass operating certificate, they would get the DL E175s which they already own and then return the AA 175s to American and they’d have plenty of staffing and pilots. Sounds like a rough transition possibly.

When Ed says regional jets, he is referring to the 50 seaters only.

Well of course, or he'd be forced to lump the B-717's in the conversation.... they have about 300 miles less range than the CRJ900 and what, 500 less than the E-175?

So Delta sold Compass to TSH 8 years ago, and are now considering buying them back?
