Attention useless 9E MEC. Forget delta as career progression. You m0r0n5 need to focus on moving our pilots to ANY other ALPO carrier. How many can I list here? Who cares. Get on it JJ. Stop swinging your bits back and forth to nothingness and get your name in the progressive hat of ALPO existence. You can thank me here later. Do the math. US ALPO carriers that will need talent, a good framework plus good numbers on our part and someone who can piece this all in a Power Point, dude, I can take your job if I want it. So get on it. FFS

Well that escalated....

I wish that was likely, but I just don't see that working out. Wouldn't Delta expend every effort to stamp that out with every tool at their disposal just out of spite?

When did it become the 9E MEC’s job to find pilots their next job? Oh wait, it isn’t.

Yes, but several other airlines have approached us about a flow.

Can you name any other WO with a flow or preferential hiring program to somewhere other than their maineline partner?

More importantly, can you imagine how well that’s going to go over with DL? No consequences to setting up a pipeline to their competitor? Does the Fox Theater ring any bells?

The 9E MEC’s job is to represent our interest, not adding career progression to other carriers and bringing on the wrath of Delta - I would say they are doing their job in this respect.

You know the MEC JUST did that right? Its gotta be close to a year now everything stopped so JJ could put every thing into negotiating a flow.

Spoiler alert: abject failure.

Maybe, but the people using that flow were already rejected by Delta, not sure why they would care. Most of the pilots Delta rejects are still mainline quality.

1. What do we have to offer for anything right now? We couldn’t get the company to fix the admitted issue with dynamic training, something that the company wants - let alone anything. You want something, you give something.
2. How does it benefit DAL to establish a flow? They have 10k apps on file, why would they need a flow?
3. Ed’s not being forced to hire triple threat guys - ever, it’s not happening.

DAL Would benefit greatly from a performance based flow. 1. They would have a lot longer look at a potential future employee, 1 to 2 years instead of 48 hours. 2.Performance would go up. 3.Attendance would be better. 4. Overall morale at the the feeder will be much better. 5.Much better control over attrition. 6. Greatly increasing the feeders ability to not only hire fresh pilots but pilots from other competitors.
These are just a few reasons why there should be a performance based flow. Give me one good reason why there shouldn’t be.
