They wear out like crazy, and then the iPad falls out which has happened like a dozen times to me.

And they aren't conducive to cases which would protect it nicely. I think it's the AA mounts that are spring loaded and let you drop the iPad in with whatever case you have on it because it springs back to and holds it tight. And the Delta ones that work with the cases are cool too

I agree, I do not like when folks change the standard position and then do not leave it the way it was...

What is the STANDARD POSITION?

Is that in writing somewhere? It may be. I just haven't seen it?

Perhaps normal position?
Majority position?
The positions that 95% of the company uses and the outliers know it?

Not upside down. What's the deal... can people not get to their printer? Tiller envy in the right seat?

Whatever, I was just referring to the inconsiderate weirdos that carry a Phillips screwdriver in their flight bag, move the clips, then leave them.

No screw driver required to moved the mount and clips. So I'm not sure what you are talking about.

oh yes there is. There are 4 screws per clip that the mount snaps into. People raise or lower them to vary the height.

Theres the “loosen the mount and flip the entire thing upside down” crowd, and the “screwdriver and move one of the pegs to another spot” crowd.
This is how you get into planes that have the left and right pegs at varying heights, such as one being in the middle.
