E2-175 would be better; next gen engines, 4 more seats to spread costs over. Downside is it’s a paper airplane for the foreseeable future.
The GTF engine's $5-$10 million premium per airplane, just isn't worth it for short legs. Extending the 717, and getting more A220s would be the best move. Also, getting a cheaper engine option on the A220 would also work.Originally Posted by PilotBases
