Lol, mountain qual? So doing 360's in the sim out of HLN isn't sufficient to fly to IGM? I guess we stopped doing that training in the sim.

there is no more specific flying around in circles around HLN, but mountain qual is now built into the 200 sim syllabus. No more "sign off"

Until then, you'll continue being a test pilot to and from HOT, because let's face it, mgmt pilots don't wanna do that!!
I've been to HOT so many times that I know most of the guys at AAR!

This ^. We are taking delivery of the 900s but can not operate all of them till the 717s start showing up. Expect another vacancy around December to have the rest and more 900 captain spots. We are short on the 200 and they don't need an extra 100 captains on the 900 to fly planes we can't operate yet. That is straight from the outhouse behind delta in msp.
That's because both the company and the court knew most of this place didn't have the balls to show them our arse and tell them to fly it themselves.... 85% clearly showed that to be true

If so, it might be short lived.
This place will NEVER re-upgrade people... just delay further downgrades.

Straight from the horse's mouth. I was told specifically I had to be mountain qual'd. I didn't think we'd carry pax to IGM anyway so I figured it was 91.

So I guess only new-hires and fence crossers get the mountain qual?

Oh well, not that it's fun to fly with the fleet manager anyway.

Make sure everyone shows your support for PSA pilots in their upcoming vote on their concessionary contract. The TA bullet points are posted at www.stopthewhipsaw.com

They need to know this is not the time to lower the bar in this industry. We are not interns.
