I agree with some of your post about the union but we are not cookie cutter pilots. We all have different priorities. Stop assuming everyone's goals and desires are yours.
Exactly, did ASA give any seniority credit to Comair when they shutdown and ASA took over flying some of their planes? Nope, at least we at Mesaba did that for express when they lost their MSP flying years ago. (Should of been 1 for 1 IMHO). They expect us to fall on a sword, lose longevity, fly on the same XJ tail numbers as an FO at their airline. All so that they have better negotiating power? F that, they can ***** all they want. They need to take care of their own house before criticizing ours.

Sounds about right, first new one is set to go on line in just over a week. This gives them the needed time for inspection and conformity checks that need to be done to place it in revenue service.

The Pinnacle re-org was an integral part of Delta's plan to restructure the DCI feed. With Delta's new found resources they could have continued to beat us into submission after a "no" vote. I voted "Yes" simply because I knew what Delta could do, and I did not want to see my fellow pilots go through that type of turmoil. Doing bad things to Pinnacle pilots to set an example wouldn't destroy their business like doing that stuff to you mainline guys would.

And why wouldn't they want to that with ASA's/Skywest's rate re-set to match the second lowest airline service agreement. If I was one of the powers to be at Delta I would've probably done the same thing with that big of carrot hanging out in front of me

The only thing I assumed was that you are not content making $85 an hour for the rest of your career.

Ok, for all the people out there who think pinnacle pilots should have voted no, what would that have accomplished in the "big picture"?
