If you aren't chasing a quick upgrade and just need 121 time then 9E seems like a no brainer to me. In less than 5 years you will make a quarter of a million dollars at 9E. One other regional even comes close to that kind of FO pay right now. Good luck.

$20,000/year bonus is lame? That's almost an entire first year pay at Compuss... Lame...
Looks at the source. AB is in the club of former 9E pilots who moved on and didn't have a good experience there. Now they like to hate on 9E and can't stomach anything that might be positive for 9E. A while ago someone made a great comparison about how it's similar to a guy who gets dumped by a hot chick and then spends future energy hating on that chick out of bitterness and sour grapes. Alaska, Shy & 80Kts come to mind.

I suppose the truth hurts and some people (a lot of people at 9E) are in serious denial and are sippin' the kool-aid the company is throwing them now that they flashed $$ in their faces. However, that bonus is an insult and you suckers are drooling all over it. If management wanted to fix the problem they would change the pay rates. I don't blame you though, a lot of you have been though hell and back and you're beat down. You've lost all senses and are running around like zombies.

With your qualifications why settle for Endeavor when you can try jetBlue, Virgin, or Spirit? All 3 have taken Corporate pilots and guys with 0 Part 121 time.

You are right because at those other regionals (PSA, TSA, Compass) they won't be on FO pay for 5 years...

Because I'm out of work and the regionals call within 20 mintues of submitting my app. The majors take months if not years to respond if at all. However, I will try to attend a job fair soon!

Since the new bonus not one pilot has left for psa. That ship has sailed. If psa can't find pilots they won't have that fast upgrade any more.

Uuuuuummmmm, you do realize that's only $50,000/year right?? A second year FO will make about $53,000/year, so a quarter million dollars in 5 years is pretty accurate...

That ship has hardly sailed when their most junior CA is a 08/2014 DOH.

Oh yikes, if you are unemployed then yes take the first opportunity that comes up. But if TSA, PSA, Compass, and Endeavor all offer at the same time, I'd take one of the first three.

All honesty Ive made 55-60 the last 3yrs as an FO(including per diem). Not hard to do. What happens after year 4? If the bonus or airline continues that long?
