May I ask what exactly happened? They drove a bus?

That would have made it better. They kept the passengers seated while they grabbed their stuff and ran off the plane. Took the bus to the terminal alone in an attempt to make a commute home. Apparently some passengers didn't appreciate it and informed the company.

As a commuter I certainly understand the desire to get the hell out of NY.

I have sat and watched the minutes tick away on the last flight home and it is not a good feeling.

But there is zero excuse for this kind of behavior.
