No, I'm thinking it will be pushed further back, something like 2022 or 2025, depending on how much pushing there is. I think fuel cost will be the biggest factor in retiring the 200s. Followed simply by MX costs as the fleet ages in excess of 16-20 years.

The FAA has repeatedly said they are not pushing the ADS-B date again... it has been pushed multiple times already.. 31Dec2019 is the deadline..

In dtw alone it is a 30% increase in flights, not to mention different mx procedures and company policies. We were all given EV employee numbers to use to sign their books. When we asked about $$ they said there is no money and to feel proud that daddy d wants 9E to do the work... Guess how far feeling proud is going??

About as far as it goes for our reserves to also sit reserve to cover them, Compass, GoJet, SkyWest, and best of all for the Delta rejects... the B717. If they want us to fly those flights, then give them to us to build into more lines rather than staff more reserves to cover those likely cancellations from everyone else. We are becoming a reserve only airline outside New York.

Is it already in our maintenance budget for the mods? Is RNP in our budget anywhere? Are we placing our faith in Trump to push privatizing ATC fast enough to avoid this, or will that actually accelerate this need? I could go on all night with what if's.... I'd rather sleep at this point now that the fireworks are wrapping up.

But Ed B. says EDV is the gold standard... it feels like we are the step kid that they say they beat the least, but actually beat the most.. at least the stand alone DC carriers can fight back about issues... wholly owned we just take it and say thanks.

Awesome. Now if only they would find their way to ATL...

Bid avoid a CA at 1000 points. Get awarded two trips with the guy. Thank goodness for Flica.

With the new bidding out...how does ATL look out of training?

Are these 32 hour sits here to stay?

We shall see when the next vacancy comes out which is rumored to be next month. As of now expect New York still.
