At Endeavor we do credit or block If it’s higher. For example, if the leg has scheduled credit of 2:10 and we have a block of 1:50, we get the scheduled credit. If we block over for whatever reason we get block because it’s higher. I believe if Skywest has a block that’s less than scheduled credit they receive block pay instead. Which can add up over the month to a pretty big reduction in pay. Its kinda hard to consistently have block that’s higher than credit, and it’s kinda nice not to worry about losing money

One of the most common misconceptions at this company is that we are paid block or better. We are not. I've gotten into multiple spirited discussions with captains and even check airmen about it before finally giving up. We are paid SAT or better. SAT's are found in the bid pack. Scheduled block times are highly inflated for several reasons, de-icing potential, wx enroute, etc. Not to mention Delta looks good when we arrive early. We are paid the SAT which is closer to what it will actually be. Take a peak at a bid pack. Thats what you're actually getting paid.

All I know is...the last 5 years 121 five has become a distraction. Too many effing moronials trying to be funny. Gosh it would be great if everyone shut the fuk up!

Your first example also holds true at OO.
We are paid the better of block or credit (credit-or-better) and sometimes credit is better than block.

example. The first three legs we would get paid the credit unless our block was greater than the credit, then we would get the "better" block.
It's the 4th leg that has everybody upset and talking about losing money. Unless we actually fly the block we will be paid the historical-average (credit) pay). If you don't have to de-ice or everything runs fine we are getting 4-5% haircut on this leg in this example.

Also keep in mind it's leg by leg guarantee, so if you overblock the first 3 and underblock 4th leg, you're not getting credit taken out or taking any kind of haircut.

Union has explained in the past to me and on emails, don't look at scheduled times unless you're on a headhead, just watch SAT in rainmaker (although it isn't called SAT, its something else but it's obvious which one is SAT).

Have confirmed from multiple sources that were present at the time, but apparently at that CJO event at the Delta museum in ATL last week both the new CEO and coo were there. They both apparently, unprompted and publicly, said that E175's will be at 9E at some point. They couldn't say when but they didn't say maybe, they said look for them in the future. They also implied more West coast flying is in the plans.

Heard this from 4 people that were there and got it directly.

I'm not naive enough to get excited for this tomorrow, but it's interesting that two very business savvy people would make this statement as publicly as that did if it were not actually in the long term plans. Who knows, maybe this year, maybe 10 years, but it would seem that the 175 and more West coast flying rumors might have serious legs. Or maybe they had too much to drink [emoji854].

(And fwiw those that know my post history know I'm the biggest skeptic of these two rumors, I'm starting to come around....)
