Was it our endeavor email? I checked both my personal and work ones and I have nothing. Checked junk and trash bins thoroughly

I don’t “need” quality ear plugs at work, but I buy them, and I write them off. I estimate my phone is used 20% for work-related purposes on taxes.

You write off your phone because the company calls you on it?? :p

I can't find it either.... But thinking back it may have actually been a mailed letter that it was in. Either way...

Mainline pilots with decent Per diem and an international override may not see a huge difference, but us regional guys (especially ones still suffering from bankruptcy concessions on the per diem pay) are going to be bent the F over on the tax changes this year. Last year's 10K refund will probably be more like 3K for the same overall income because the deductions for a family of 5 with a 250K house will be much less than half what they were... to the point it's probably more cost effective to just do the free tax prep from turbotax.com. No point in paying an accountant to file a 1040EZ (hopefully you don't owe this year... I'm betting a ton of us will compared to past years) And may satan take you in if you live within 100 miles of either ocean with the change to the state tax credit (aka the FU Democrat tax that the Republicans slipped in)

I had my eye on a trip in flica that was greyed out due to being during the last week of the bid period during construction of the Feb bid period. I looked in there today and it's gone. How did somebody pick it up during the last 7 day freeze? I'd like to know the secret so I can do it myself. I know the answer isn't to call CS because I tried that.

On another note, why don't we allow the trip request to take place but just hold the award until the 18th at 5 so we can honor the first come first served practice vs free for all at 5 on the 18th for anything operating during the last 7 days of the bid period?

The company may be using the trip for OE. That’s the only thing I can think of.

Or the pairing was modified/canceled. I assume you're referring to a trade board trip, as there is very little open time at the moment. Check the "view or print pairings" list for the original pairing number. If it was modified, there will be a modifier letter next to the original pairing number. For example if the original pairing was X1234 and now the TB shows the pairing number as grey instead of blue, it was probably modified to X1234A.

Edit: The person posting the TB probably just didn't realize the modification nullified their TB posting. Try messaging them/inquiring to see if they can update the TB posting to reflect the new pairing with modification.

Hope that helps.

It is OT not TB and when I search the pairing number still shows "open" for the crew position. I guess the only option is to see if it shows back up this evening. Withheld for OE would make sense. If they assigned it to someone outside of that during the freeze could I grieve it and get paid?

The deadline says 12/31/18 to sign up, but it slipped my mind and I did it yesterday- it even had my W2 for 2018 generated when I finished and signed in. You can get to it pretty easy to sign up:
Endeavorairnet - finance - payroll - “online W2 registration”
It walks you through what info to input on the signup.

Do vacation days count towards the minimum days off in the contract?

Ex. 30-day bid cycle. Reserve pilot gets min days off of 12. Said pilot has also been awarded a vacation week of seven days. Should that now be a minimum of 19 (12 + 7) days off?
Or can the company consider the seven vacation days to be part of the min days off, and then basically schedule them to basically only have 12 days off anyway??

TIA.
