I believe in your case, it would be worth it. CVG is super junior, so yes, you could get it either immediately or worst case on the first vacancy (usually every other month).

This is still a great company. Yes, our contract is subpar compared to everyone else, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Anyone starting out, don’t come here. But if you just need to get some PIC time and get out, sure, do it.

The only other question I would have is, how long do you have to be with the company in order to take the bonus without paying it back?

Great company? Remember this is the place that hands out ice cream in October, shrinking, and closing domiciles when other companies are handing out 50-70% pay raises, commuter hotels and other meaningful stuff.

If you are talking about new hire bonus, I believe it’s yours to keep after OE.

I said great company, not great management. The people (pilots) here have always been top notch. In 4 years, I have had maybe 2 trips that the other pilot was not at least bearable to fly with. The training department has always been great IMO, and most aspects of the business side have done well. (HR, etc…)

Dont confuse company with management. We know there are issues, as I stated earlier. But overall, it’s still a good place to work.

I agree with you. Management hasn't always been the best, but the training department and pilot group were great. In my almost 4 years there I had 3 captains off the top of my head that I couldn't stand and maybe 1-2 FO's. I enjoyed my time there other than when I had to commute to NYC for reserve... LOL

It’s all been said before. Nobody should get excited till the aircraft are being flown by us. Till then. It’s all just rumor. Endeavor can’t staff the current fleet so why would Delta send 175’s our way?

I know

but it’s being put on the certificate and that has to happen anyway if we’re getting them anytime.

Yawn... If anyone new plans to stay here more than 5 years it might effect them. IF those planes arrive, they will be trickled in, years from now, and go senior. Much more likely as long as there's cheap 900's on the market, and supported by MHI, 9E will be flying those exclusively.

175s are another carrot. I guess the lifers need a lifeline since the CRJ series will be dead by 2025.

Not sure why anyone spends more than six months at this dump, when LCCs are hiring CFIs.
