Makes a lot of sense if you ask me. Hindsight maybe working here. This last decade leaves behind a lot of cause and effect. Just because someone comes from a clouded past doesn't mean they can't try to rite the future

What race to the bottom? Honest question.

You would rather have a company go out and find someone in another country to do the same job your doing at a fraction of the price because the company doesn't want to pony up and pay pilots the wages they should be paid? I'm sure there's probably several other airlines ready to follow right behind Norwegian.

That's probably true. I keep wondering how much this is being blown out of proportion. But maybe there'd be a pretty good domino effect if the legacies took a hit overseas. But this isn't associated with open skies, right? I think that would be the bigger issue. NAI seems a bit temporary comparatively.

That sounds good, so then you'll agree to never post on this board again? Because I haven't seen one post from you resembling anything intelligent. And no doubt about it you are a poser and are not who you portray yourself to be.

Blah blah big. That's you. Very boring. Please come up with something more interesting to say.

Respond in kind, sweetheart. That's my motto.

You are extremely annoying and add no value to this thread. I don't know how else to put it. The fact that you can't see how cringe-worthy your posts are help me to understand that you won't understand this one; but I wish you would.

So my question about NAI was "cringe-worthy?" Sorry lady, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

The reason we don't want to follow the path NAI is following is because their whole operation is based on bending rules and skirting regulations to allow them to hire the cheapest labor with the most company friendly work rules. We DO NOT want the U.S. airlines to follow suit because it would destroy our profession as we know it. I don't think any of us want to work under an asian labor contract at a carrier that's based out of a different country to skirt U.S. regulations. It would negatively impact our pay, QOL, and job security. Being based in the USA, all the US airlines have to follow the same rules. When you allow a carrier to base it's airline in a country it doesn't even fly to, just to get around the rules that every other airline in this country has to follow, it hurts us all.
