Anyone happen to know the time frame to go through 900 upgrade. Ground through OE and what it entails?

44 days NON AQP....cut a week off for AQP when they get it approved. Most of 16-02 will get AQP upgrade..at least that is how they have it planned and scheduled.

Is differences AQP?

Is there an oral for AQP upgrade or nah?

I can ask my ground instructor tomorrow. I had previously asked him what the differences class entails because i was considering starting on the 200 and later moving to the 900. Apparently its 3 weeks of ground followed by simulator sessions.

Thanks! Every time I consider switching to the 900, I look at my relative seniority and forget about it. Nearly bidding 50%, so it's hard to leave that. Maybe once senior FOs upgrade out of it or move onwards. Also don't want to do more training, on top of my recurrent soon to get AQP'd.

I don't think differences is three weeks of ground, to be honest. Initial was 3 and they could greatly cut that down for a transition.

I asked about differences. I was told 11 days total.

I saw guys do transition training in a week and a half. So 11 days sounds right.

The AQP upgrade program they submitted to the FAA did not include an ORAL...only an operational oral like we have been used to prior to a LOE event. 30 minutes.
